I’m Gilad Shahar, a brand and visual designer based in San Francisco. For the past six years I’ve helped technology companies turn complex products and campaigns into visual systems that hold together — first inside Salesforce’s design and communications team, and now as a contract designer with Iron Creative, working with teams like Slack, Lattice, and Procore.

I like the part of the job most people skip: writing down why a decision was made, so the system still makes sense once I’m not in the room. It’s the thread running through the case studies on this site, from Inside Salesforce’s editorial platform to Lattice’s campaign toolkit.

Marketing Designer, Contract

Building modular Figma systems for technology clients — including Slack, Lattice, and Procore — that cut production time and keep campaigns on-brand across formats. Reduced production and approval turnaround by about 70% on Lattice’s campaign toolkit.

Salesforce · Jun 2021 — Jul 2024

UX/UI Designer, Design Systems & Communications

Built and documented a cross-org Figma system, then led the redesign of Inside Salesforce — the internal editorial hub for 70K+ employees — nearly tripling average time on page.
